Onigirazu rice sandwiches are back by popular demand at Japan Fest 2016! If you are not familiar with Onigirazu, imagine a sandwich but the bread is replaced with sticky rice – similar to sushi rice. This year the UWM Japanese Program team is preparing five flavors: Tuna Mayonnaise, Hawaiian Spam, Shiso Edamame, Konbu Seaweed, and Takana Vegetable. At only $3 for two onigirazu, these are going to be very popular with kids and adults alike!
Japan Fest will be held November 6th at Franklin High School Cafeteria starting at 12:00 noon.
