It’s only 3 more days until Japan Fest 2016. The lineup for the stage performances is amazing! Be sure to check out the latest event program on our website so you don’t miss your favorite performers.
The Chicago Koto Group plays traditional Japanese stringed instruments and will be performing for the first time in Milwaukee at Japan Fest. The group was established in 1985 and plays many events and festivals. This Sunday, they will be performing three songs performed by four koto players and shakuhachi flute.
And it wouldn’t be Japan Fest without our favorite local Taiko group – Hibiki! Each year, they impress all of us with their amazing and powerful Japanese drum performance.
Doyokai Japanese students have been practicing their presentations and are excited to perform this weekend as well. Those are a few of the many exciting performers that will be at Japan Fest this year. We can’t wait to see YOU at Franklin High School cafeteria at noon on Sunday, November 6th.
