元旦におきた石川県能登半島地震により被災された方々に心よりお見舞い申し上げますと同時に犠牲になられた方々、ご家族・親族の皆様にはお悔やみもうしあげます。
ミルウォーキー日本人会では、皆様からの篤志をまとめさせていただき日本赤十字に送金させていただく活動をいたします。アメリカからの送金は銀行を通じての送金となりますので、ミルウォーキー日本人会宛て(Milwaukee Japanese Association) にチェックを切っていただき、パーソナル・チェックのメモ書きのスペースに能登地震募金とお書きいただき下記住所にお送りください。（募金第一フェーズ：1/14/2024 ~ 2/5/2024)

Dear Milwaukee Japanese Association Members, Friends and Families,
We would like to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to all those affected by the Ishikawa Noto Earthquake.
In the wake of these recent emergencies, we find ourselves compelled to reach out to you with an urgent appeal for support. The MJA Board will be sending all of your donations to the Japanese Red Cross.
Please send a check payable to the Milwaukee Japanese Association and write “for Noto Earthquake” in the memo line and mail it to the following address: (First Wave Donations: Jan 14 ~ Feb 5)

P.S. We will be planning on having a spring event sometime in the April~May timeframe and a few more get-together opportunities throughout this year. During those future events, we would like to continue raising donations for the earthquake victims as this type of disaster will require long-term support to rebuild and help people get back on track. We are grateful for your generosity.
